We really love food, and we’re guessing you do too. At Ouzel Kitchen (pronounced OO-zuhl), we’re bringing you delicious eats inspired by our favorite flavors — from Latin America to the Levant.
Our inspiration is global but our ingredients are local. You can expect fresh, healthy meals that change with the seasons. We work with whole, raw ingredients, a lot of care, and just the right amount of personality. Whether you’re swooping in for a quick coffee, hearty lunch, or tasty dinner and drinks with friends, you’ll find a cozy, casual space, beautiful patio, and people who are genuinely glad you’re here.

What we're about
What we're about
Ouzel Kitchen is a place built around a simple idea: food connects us—to each other, to memory, to the places and people that shape us. We all have to eat, and if we're lucky, we get to eat something that sparks a memory and reminds us of the things that matter most.
Our menu is rooted in cuisines from Latin America, the Mediterranean, and the Levant, built around what's local and in season here in the Wenatchee Valley. We offer intentional food, made with care, in a place we're proud to call home.
The name is local too. The Ouzel—or American Dipper—is a quirky, steadfast little bird that makes its home along the swift mountain streams of the Pacific Northwest. We love the Ouzel's energy—it’s America’s only aquatic songbird. It reminds us to embrace the weird. Do your own thing. Don't be squished.
Ouzel Kitchen was founded by owner Paul Sozio. Paul changed careers to pursue the thing he loves most—great food and drink as a conduit for connection. Together with Nick Wells and Debbie Dollard, Paul and the team are creating a place for the community and the visitors who find their way here. We're so glad to have you.
